Tankless Water Heater Specifications
Instantaneous and Continuous Gas Water Heater
All ThermElite Tankless Gas Water Heaters generate hot water
only when hot water is required.
- The flow sensor in the system detects the
movements of water when any hot water tap is opened in the home.
- At this
point, the stainless steel burner unit is ignited by a standing pilot
lights, an electronic sparker powered by 2 D-Cell batteries or the
hydro-generator powered electronic sparking system depending on the model
chosen.
- As water circulates through the soft copper heat heat exchanger,
the water is "super heated" by up to 45°F in a mere couple of
seconds.
- The unit will continue to produce up to 2.9 gallons of heated
water for as long as the tap remains open, providing instantaneous and
continuous "on demand" hot water.
- Once the tap in the
house is closed, the unit immediately shuts down and no longer consumes
energy.
- Unlike a conventional tank-type water heater, the ThermElite
heaters do not cycle through "heating and
cooling" like a standby tank heater that
adds to gas bills when you don't need hot water. You only pay for the hot
water that you use - not store.

No need to go through roof if located near an exterior wall.
* Can be used with existing 1/2" or 3/4" Water and Gas Lines.
Comes plumbed for 3/4" connections but can operate with 1/2" water connection
(adapters not included) without diminishing performance.

The soft copper heat exchanger is coated with a special paint to prevent

These Tankless Gas Water Heaters provide endless hot water for most
light-duty commercial and warm-weather residential applications.
Ideal for
summer vacation homes and "sunbelt" residences where ambient
ground water temperature only requires up to 60°F temperature rise. 2.9
GPM on a 45°F temperature rise can operate a shower, tub, dishwasher or
laundry tub but at a slow rate.
Not sufficient for spa-type bathtubs. For
colder weather or greater capacity "whole house" applications we
recommend the ThermElite
WorkMan Model 12 Series heaters.
