Elite International Company, Inc. hereby warrants this Tankless Gas
Water Heaters to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under
the following conditions:
General - 18 MONTH FULL REPLACEMENT
WARRANTY
Should the warrantor conclude, based on a thorough examination of the
unit, that there has been a part failure, in normal use and service within
18 months of the date of purchase when the water heater is in possession
of the original purchaser as recorded on the warranty card, the warrantor
will furnish a replacement unit or a replacement part, if the warranted
party agrees with receiving a replacement part instead of a replacement
unit.
Heat Exchanger - 10 YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY (single family
dwelling)
Should the warrantor conclude, base on a thorough examination of the
unit, that the heat exchanger has failed under normal residential usage
utilizing potable water within ten (10) years of the date of purchase when
the water heater is in possession of the original purchaser as recorded on
the warranty card, the warrantor will repair or replace the heat exchanger
or the unit at the warrantor's own discretion. If the product is used in a
commercial capacity or in other than a single family dwelling, or if the
unit is supplied with pre-heated or circulated water, then the heat
exchanger warranty will be limited to three (3) years. The replacement
heat exchanger will be warranted for the unexpired portion of the original
warranty on this part.
All other parts - TEN YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY (single family
dwelling)
Should the warrantor conclude, base on a thorough examination of the
unit, a part has failed under normal residential usage utilizing potable
water within ten (10) years of the date of purchase when the water heater
is in possession of the original purchaser as recorded on the warranty
card, the warrantor will repair or replace the part or the unit at the
warrantor's own discretion. If the product is used in a commercial
capacity or in other than a single family dwelling, or if the unit is
supplied with pre-heated or circulated water, then the replacement part
warranty, under this section of the warranty, will be limited to three (3)
years. The replacement part will be warranted for the unexpired portion of
the original warranty on this part.
Shipping and Labor Costs:
In addition to supplying the replacement unit or parts under the
applicable time periods, the Manufacturer will pay transportation costs
for the unit and/or parts under the 18 month full replacement section of
this warranty. Thereafter the owner will be responsible for shipping,
delivery and handling of the replacement part or unit. This warranty,
however, does not cover any labor costs associated with the removal or
re-installation of the unit and/or parts. Further any labor costs
associated with the service or yearly inspection of the water heater is
not covered by this warranty.
All such labor costs must be borne by the Purchaser.
Exceptions:
This limited Warranty shall be the exclusive warranty made by the
Manufacturer and is made in lieu of all other warranties, express or
implied (whether written or oral), including, but not limited to,
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Manufacturer shall not be liable of any incidental, consequential, special
or contingent damages or expenses arising, directly or indirectly, from
any defect in the
water heater or the use of the water heater. Manufacturer shall not be
liable for any water or fire damage arising, directly or indirectly, from
any defect in the water heater or component parts. Manufacturer reserves
the right to inspect and/or troubleshoot any problem that may arise by the
end-user of a unit to determine if it is a problem with the unit that
warrants replacement or service. This warranty further will not apply to:
1.Defects or malfunctions resulting from failure to properly install,
operate or maintain the unit in accordance with the printed instructions
provided;
2. Damage from abuse, accident, alterations, neglect, freezing
and other acts of nature;
3. Failure of the heat exchanger resulting from
the operation of the water heater in a corrosive atmosphere or at any
water
temperatures exceeding the maximum rating, or if the water heater is not supplied with potable water;
4.Damage resulting from operation with any of
the safety devices disabled;
5.Defects or damage caused by any attachment
or modification, including any energy-saving device.
6.Incorrect water or
gas supply pressure.
7. Incorrect sizing. 8.Use with an improper gas type.
The purchaser and not the Manufacturer or his representative shall be
liable for and shall pay for all field charges for labor or other expenses
incurred in the removal and/or repair of the product or any expense
incurred by the Purchaser in order to repair the product.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply
to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which may vary from state to state.
How to Make a Claim:
1. Purchaser should contact the dealer who sold the water heater
covered
by this warranty or;
2. Purchaser should submit the warranty clam directly
to ELITE International, for the handling of the claim, at: 7909 Melrose
Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046, Tel. (323) 653-3131, Fax. (323) 653-7171.
3.Whenever any inquiry or service request is made, be sure to include
the
water heater model number, serial number, the date of manufacture, date of
purchase, and the dealer's name.
4. When returning the water heater or component part(s), they must be
individually tagged and identified with the Returned Goods Authorization
number issued by ELITE International and shipped prepaid to ELITE
International at:

ABOUT WARRANTY REGISTER FORM
The warranty registration card is enclosed in the carton with each
water
heater, it must be returned to Elite International Company, Inc. in order
for the warranty to remain in full force and effect, and must be
accompanied
by a receipt for installation by a licensed plumber or authorized
installer.
IMPORTANT this is the only warranty card available to the purchaser, and
no
copies will be issued. Make sure to make a photo copy to keep for your
records.
