Uses 2.2 gallons per minute with 60°F temperature rise, 130 gallons per hour. 

Requires No Electricity!

• Can provide enough hot water flow for a shower, tub, dishwater or washing machine (slowly) in warmer weather climates where no more than a maximum of 60°F temperature rise is required.

• Pilot, Battery or Hydro ignition. No electrified power vent assist necessary.

Produces up to 2.9 gallons per minute on 45°F temperature rise, more than adequate for many commercial and light-duty residential applications.

Open any hot water tap and the water flow is detected. In turn, the igniter fires the stainless steel burner of the unit, thereby heating the water up to as much as 175 degrees.

There are three ignition systems available: 

• The Standing Pilot with Piezo-Electric Sparker

• The D-Cell Battery  sparker with an LED "Low Battery Indicator" 

• The Hydro-Electronic Sparker which uses a small generator turbine powered by water flow. 

Available pre-plumbed for either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane all models can be converted, by a Licensed Plumber only, with the use of our NG-to-LP or LP-to-NG Fuel Conversion Kits.

Plumbing

• Can be plumbed with existing 1/2-ich or 3/4-inch water and gas lines.  Comes plumbed for 3/4-inch connections but can operate with 1/2-inch water connection without diminishing performance.

• Compares favorably with the hourly production capacity of a typical 40-gallon tank-type water heater after allowing for normal reheat "recovery" time.

Venting

• May be Horizontally Vented - up to 3-feet only from the outside vent exit. No need to go through roof if located near an exterior wall.

• Efficiency rating of 82%, Energy Factor of 80% - helps cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50%!

• The TE80 Series measure a modest 25-1/8" in height, 14-1/8" width and 8-3/8" depth. Weighing only 22 to 24 pounds, they easily hang on the wall. No special preparation of the wall is necessary.
